King of Camelot
Hello and welcome to Camelot! I am King Arthur, true king of Camelot and owner of Excalibur. My Knights of the Round Table help keep the peace here in Camelot. I came to power about 20 years ago with the help of my friend Merlin, the wizard. One of my closest friends, Sir Lionel, was killed by the evil Ruber protecting me. His daughter Kayley and her friend Garrett both saved me from Ruber and killed him. I have stayed close with them and Lady Juliana , Kayley's mother and my fiance. Please enjoy your stay in Camelot.

{Hey y’all! Sorry I was absent…again. Life caught up with me yet again. I’m almost done with school though (18-19 days left!) so I’ll hopefully be on more. I hate that I can’t get on. It sucks. But I really mean it when I say I’m gonna try. I just get exhausted easily now. But I’ll try}

Arthur || Juliana: Proposal?

lady-juliana:

She watched as Arthur pulled something from his tunic, her smile got impossibly wider when he slipped the delicate ring onto her slender finger. It fit perfectly. “It is the most beautiful ring Arthur,” she smiled kissing him back softly. She looked at the ring on her finger glowing with happiness at how perfect it was. The ring looked as if it belonged on Juliana’s finger, as if there was never a time it had not sat on her finger the sapphire gleaming softly in the light. Sapphire was her favorite  gem stone, “How did you remember,” she looked into Arthur’s eyes which almost matched the gem perfectly, “I must have only said it once in passing…” She smiled leaning up to place a kiss on his nose, “I hope I can be the queen Camelot deserves, and the wife you wish to have.” Juliana was beyond happy her and Arthur were going to wed, and knowing he had bought the ring for her so many years ago when they were still young made it all the more special. “I love you Arthur, more than words will ever express.”

Arthur smiled as Juliana admired her ring. He had been hoping it would fit. And that it would be beautiful enough for the woman who was wearing it. “Of course I remember it’s your favorite! I remember everything about you,” he muttered. It was true. All the conversations they had, her smile, the way she made him feel, he remembered all of it. Arthur could never forget it. Juliana meant too much to him to forget her. “I could never forget anything about you my dear.” Arthur felt his cheeks redden at her kiss. While he acted composed, his mind was screaming. It felt almost like he was betraying Lionel, but certainly his friend would understand. Arthur was beyond excited that he would finally marry Juliana. “We may be off to a later start in our relationship, but I am certain you will be an amazing queen and you most definitely be the wife I have always wanted. You are the only wife I have ever wanted Juliana,” Arthur told her. He kissed her again, silently promising to look after her and to visit Lionel’s grave once again and explain the situation. Arthur usually went to his friend and talked to him. It made it seem as if he never left. “And I love you my dear. More than you could ever know.”

{Okay, so Ronni and I are starting an Artuliana tag. Tag anything doing with both of our characters- especially talk of the wedding- there. THANKS :)}

Arthur || Juliana: Confessions

lady-juliana:

Lady Juliana smiled at Arthur’s admission about feeling the same way and having felt his most comfortable around her as well and her heart swelled when he said he loved her as well. She was going to say something but her train of thought had stopped completely when she saw Arthur get down on one knee. Her eyes widened  in shock as she listened intently to Arthur’s words her mind racing and everything else seeming to have disappeared as she focused solely on him. She looked into his deep blues her breath speeding up as he told her of his need of a queen. She felt her heart begin to race as he got closer to asking what she hoped was coming. Her hand raised to cover her mouth as she gasped, tears filling her eyes as she nodded throwing herself into Arthur’s arms. “Yes, of course,” she pulled back and kissed him with all the love she had before looking into his eyes and whispering softly, her voice full of emotion, “I would love nothing more than to marry you and be your queen.”

Arthur watched Juliana’s face, nervous for her reply. A thousand worries raced through his mind: they were rushing into this, it was too soon, she didn’t want to marry him along with many other possibilities. After hearing her response, Arthur let out a breath. She said yes. He was going to marry her. She would officially be his. Arthur kissed Juliana back with passion and joy. His smile broadened at her next words and Arthur felt as if a weight had been lifted off his shoulders. Everything felt better now that Juliana said yes to his proposal. After he released her, Arthur dug into the pocket of his tunic. “I went to the craftsman and had him make this for you long ago,” Arthur admitted. “I had intended to give it to you when we were younger. It was supposed to be a promise ring. I visited him again and had him add a few things,” he explained. He pulled out a ring that was very intricate and delicate. The silver was woven together to create the band and a simple sapphire rested on the top, held in place by raised silver still woven together. Arthur slipped into onto Juliana’s finger, his smile so wide it hurt his face. He had dreamed of this day for quite sometime and now that it was a reality, Arthur couldn’t be happier. His dreams were coming true. Even if they were delayed a little, Arthur was going to marry Juliana. “And now Camelot will have the queen it deserves,” Arthur announced, kissing Juliana lightly on the lips.

Arthur || Juliana: Confessions

lady-juliana:

Juliana knew the things they were talking about were sensitive to both of them and it took a lot for either to talk about them as they had not truly talked like this in many years. Juliana was glad to have this back with him though. She had missed being able to talk to Arthur in this way and have a simple easy friendship with him but now there was also so much more between the two of them and she couldn’t be happier. She smiled remembering the few times she actually went to the castle balls, “Yes, but I only went because I was asked if you remember my dear.” She blushed slightly at his comment, “You were the same for me Arthur,” she smiled up at him her eyes shining with love, “You were my best friend, the only person I felt I could tell everything to and I would never judge you.” She rested a delicate hand on his cheek, “I Love you Arthur,” she blushed at the words as they came from her mouth. She had not expected to say them but it had just seemed to be the right thing to say and so she just went with it hoping it wasn’t too much. Of course they had shared their feelings before but she could not remember them having been said them so straightforwardly as she just had.

Arthur just watched Juliana as she spoke, listening as well of course. He reminisced on the days of when they were younger and how he had always harbored feelings for her. He had always had a drawing of her on his person and the creases were worn from years of taking it out and looking at the drawing, reveling in her beauty. He had drawn the picture, unbeknownst to her, as he admired her from afar. They had been friends but he wanted to always have a reminder of her so he used his drawing skill to capture her beauty. The drawing was perfect, but Arthur barely thought it did Juliana justice. Being able to see her on a daily basis was much more satisfying. “Of course you were asked,” Arthur replied, smiling at his lady. His lady. Once, Arthur had given up on the dream of calling Juliana his. Lionel and Juliana had seemed so in love, but he had hoped. He felt proud to call Juliana his now. “I always felt completely comfortable around you. As if I didn’t have to pretend to be something else. I could just be, me,” Arthur admitted quietly. During knight training, Arthur had to be brave and courageous. Around Lionel, he was the advice giver. Around Juliana, he was just Arthur. Her friend. Arthur smiled at Juliana’s words. “I love you too Juliana,” Arthur declared. He inhaled, contemplating his next action. He had been thinking about this for a long time. He had everything necessary for it, and now, the moment. But should he do it? Would it seem like they were rushing into something? But, Arthur remembered something his council had told him, Camelot needed a queen. He needed a queen. And who better to ask? Arthur steadied his breathing and knelt onto one knee.

“Juliana?” Arthur asked. “I love you, and I know you love me. Camelot needs a queen at the moment,” Arthur explained. “As do I. I need a queen to keep me sane as I complete my duties as king. I need a queen to help me fulfill those duties. I need a queen to share my life with. I need that queen to be you. Not some council chosen lady. You. Please, will you do me the honor of becoming my queen? Will you marry me?” Arthur asked, laying his heart on the line. He needed Juliana in his life, permanently. This was what he needed.
